Biography:
Born in 2003 in Conakry, I discovered my passion for photography at the age of 7, inspired by my uncle who was a professional photographer. After earning my high school diploma, I continued my studies at the Higher Institute of Arts of Guinea (now I.S.A.M.K) in Dubreka, majoring in Film and Audiovisual Arts. In 2019, I specialized in cinematography before transitioning fully into photography.
I consider myself an eclectic and curious photographer, eager to explore different fields of photography such as portrait and landscape. Still, my true passion lies in street photography, inspired by great masters like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Bruce Gilden, and Joel Meyerowitz. What I love most is capturing the everyday lives of those around me, showing their reality; exploring new places and ways of life; and revealing the identity and realities of my country to share them with those who see my work.

This isn’t Paris, London, or New York. This is Conakry! You don’t know it, do you? Then take the leap, my brother, and come discover the vibrant streets of my city. Follow me, and you’ll step right into the pulsing energy of the capital, where the streets become a living stage—pedestrians, moto-taxis, and everyday scenes turning into something both unique and universal.
Don’t get lost—come closer to the heart—sometimes the chaos—of this human whirlwind that means so much to me. You’ll see, it only takes a glance, a single detail, to feel the energy and pride of my people, revealed in the simplest gestures of daily life.
With the series The Streets Where I Live, I offer you a window into a living, breathing identity—a reality seen and felt from the inside.
