Sue Dorfman is an independent photojournalist with ZUMA Press. Her work focuses on documenting democracy in the United States and social conditions around the globe. She first came to Selma in the 1980s to document the get out the vote efforts for Rep. Hank Sanders and election protection efforts at the polls. When not on the road, she divides her time between Washington, DC and Cape Cod, MA. Her roots are in New York’s Hudson Valley.
