Bob Corley
Guest photographer for the Photographic Nights of Selma 2020
From a plastic Kalimar 2 1/4, to my father’s 35mm range-finder Canon, to my digital Nikon today, I’ve taken photographs for most of my 70 years. Experience on a high school newspaper, a daily newspaper, freelance photojournalism, and a monthly magazine have kept my photography moving forward. Now deep in retirement, photography has taken on a more philosophical tone, leading me to digital painting derived from my photographs, making my camera a sketch book and my computer a studio and darkroom.
