Avec pour axe de travail principal un intΓ©rΓͺt affirmΓ© et un engagement dans les domaines du documentaire social, (faits de sociΓ©tΓ©, monde du travail, mouvement sociaux, grΓ¨ves, antiracisme et immigration, jeunesse, vie dans les quartiers difficiles, monde associatif, politique, migrants, …) Β 

J’ai exercΓ© en parallΓ¨le une activitΓ© de journaliste reporter-photographe, rΓ©alisΓ© plusieurs films documentaires et enseignΓ© l’histoire et la pratique photographique argentique, notamment dans plusieurs facultΓ©s au Maroc.Β 

Je collabore rΓ©guliΓ¨rement pour des missions humanitaires en tant que photographe pour des ONG internationales et des organismes de l’ONU, et plus rΓ©cemment au Cambodge (2018 et 2019) Ethiopie (2019) Nicaragua (2019).

Joseph Marando is a photographer and author born in may 1956, and has worked as a director of documentary films since 2001. With his main axis of work, an affirmed interest and a commitment in the fields of the social documentary, (facts of society, world of work, social movements, strikes, anti-racism and immigration, youth, life in the difficult districts, associative world, politics, migrants, etc…)Β 

In parallel, he Β worked as a reporter-photographer, made several documentary films and taught history and silver photography, notably in several locations in Morocco.Β 

Marando regularly collaborates for humanitarian missions as a photographer for international NGOs and UN agencies, and more recently worked as a photographer in Cambodia (2018 and 2019) Ethiopia (2019) Nicaragua (2019).
